Terezin was a concentration camp during World War II. It was targeted to fool investigators into thinking that it was a real town. Of the 15,000 children who passed through Terezin, less than 100 survived. These children wrote poems, sometimes on walls or on scrap pieces of paper. These poems have been recovered and can now be viewed using this program.
